Black's Island is twenty bungalows on a boardwalk in the middle of St. Joseph Bay. You get there by boat or you get there by helicopter, and that fact is the entire sales pitch. So the aerials had one job: establish that there is nothing else out there.
Island logistics shape everything about a shoot like this. Gear that crosses water, weather windows, and aerial coverage planned around the geography rather than added as garnish. The result sells the thing the resort actually has that nowhere else does.

Project facts
St. George Island
A reel of the Forgotten Coast made for no client and no brief, shot on the stretch of coast Kyle was raised on. The lighthouse from directly above, the water tower at last light, the beach on an ordinary afternoon. Knowing a place well enough to know when to be standing there is most of the job.
